Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree to create an interdepartmental working group for the development of hydrogen energy. The order was published on Tuesday on the official website.
As follows from the order, the interdepartmental working group will be headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. Denis Manturov (the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade), Nikolai Shulginov (the head of the Ministry of Energy) and Pavel Sorokin (the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy) have been approved as his deputies. Vladimir Litvinenko, Rector of St. Petersburg Mining University, has been appointed head of scientific activities, the corresponding position to which is deputy head of the working group, while Alexei Kulapin, who serves as General Director of the Russian Energy Agency, has been appointed secretary of the working group.
